I got a camera from my husband for Christmas a few years ago and have steadily been growing in my photographic pursuits.
I try not to limit myself to one certain style, as to me, a photo is more relevant than just saying “I was here”. I would rather feel something about what I am seeing as opposed to merely seeing it.
I really love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit some pretty amazing places, and my travel photos are the ones I treasure. When I return home and view my pictures, I choose to share the ones that make me remember the moment; that evoke a feeling or a memory; that make me long to go back. Sometimes the best photos I took in my own backyard. It’s all about the moment and how I choose to represent it. I tend to see potential photos most places I go.
Landscape and nature subjects are also my favorites, and on occasion I will get in headshot mode and avail myself to those services as well. As an actor, I am able to understand the importance of a good headshot and capture the essence of that person and who they are.
